Takeda Pharmaceuticals supports a variety of global internal employee interest groups (‘TRGs’). As the company has expanded through acquisitions, it absorbed and incorporated additional groups, resulting in a mismatched pastiche of visual styles across TRG logos and marketing materials. Pinkergreen devised a visual iconography system to unify the look and feel of ten TRGs, and a strategic approach to developing icons for future groups.

the power of unity
The selected concept relies on a single mono-weight line, swooping, undulating into each icon in a continuous loop. While each icon stands alone, the common single line also allows them to be strung together in a visual nod to Takeda’s commitment to Integrity and Unity.
